Mediation Skills III
Geared for the active practitioner, this course moves past the basics and wrestles with the complexities of difficult and protracted conflict. Role play opportunities give you the chance to practice working with dynamics of complex historical relationships, power imbalances and role enmeshment. This course is primarily focused on mediating in workplace contexts.
In this course, you will learn a model for assessing and working with groups of eight or more people. Participants will explore the unique dynamics of groups and develop skills to introduce services, conduct assessment interviews and present and carry out recommendations. Other topics include the core characteristics of an effective mediator and the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of mediation.
